What
is Microcannula Liposuction?
Microcannula
liposuction is also called Microcannular liposculpture. There is a very short
downtime, minimal bruising and small incision site make it precise fat-removing
method available. However, the use of tinny cannulas alone doesn’t mean it can
be called microcannula liposuction.
it
is performed under local anesthesia, and compression garments (girdles) are not
required. The procedure aims to redefine your body’s contour and physique and
was invented by Dr Jeffrey Klein.
1.
Small
cannula.
Thanks
to the small cannula, there’s more control over the procedure. Delicate areas
such as front armpit and facial fat, can be sculpted more precisely, especially
for Asians whose body type are relatively slim or delicate .There is also less
chance to have unevenness of the skin.
2. Small incision site.
The
incision site is very small and the method minimize the chances of scarring. We
also hide your incision site which makes it more unnoticeable.
3.
Local anesthesia.
The
procedure is performed under local anesthesia with true tumescent technique.
This means that the long recovery time associated with general anesthesia is
virtually non-existent.
4. Skin tightening and contraction
Thanks
to the small size of the cannula, the cannula could move superficially under
the surface of the skin. This creates a certain kind of trauma to the cells,
which stimulates collagen production. It helps the tightening and wrapping of
the skin around the treated areas. There’s less chance that you’ll get loose
skin (depending on skin quality) We often use the technique to treat the
loosening body after weight loss.
5. Short recovery period
Usually
you can go back home by yourself or go out dinner with friends
with minimal
discomfort. Generally, you can go back to your work in 1-3 days depending
on
your daily activities. For overseas clients, we suggest that you stay in Taiwan
for 3days at least.
